Sounds like such a wonderful time! Isn’t it funny how when you live near a tourist attraction, you usually are the last person to go there?

I’ve lived outside of DC all my life (was born there too) and I just saw the White House and The Capital for the first time a couple of years ago.

Beautiful pictures…those last two were hilarious!

Thanks for the memories. Cape Cod is absolutely one of my favorite places. We spent many vacations there over the years, from Falmouth to Wellfleet, hotels & camping. I miss it so much, and hope to revisit with the grandkiddos & DDs family next year!

I’m so glad the Cape boasted your spirits.

I have traveled a lot but the one place I haven’t visited is Cape Cod and Nantucket, and I want to go so bad. The cobblestone, the charm, the style of houses … it’s just what I like.

We’ve been trying to hit the Cape all summer – but sickness or other plans have kept us away. We have one more shot – Monday – before school starts.

We even had free room and board had we been able to make it this week.
