I wish I could share a similar one. My Memere Ross died in 1845, at 56, before any of us was born. My Memere Fontaine died when I was in my teens, but though she had seven children, she never really liked children much, so she sure wasn't the "huggy, warm, loving, cuddly, laughing, solid, eye-twinkling" type of grandma you remember. Today as I was driving (before I'd even turned my computer on for the day) I was flooded with memories and emotions of my Pa Pete. I cried and talked to him as I drove. When I read this, I cried again. I just finished my post about him. I feel so thankful to have had someone like him and it really was amazing to be able to sit and remember him tonight.
