Aw, how fun! Sounds so sweet and yes, we definitely need to remember that the older ones need our time too. I notice this when I’ll take just one of them with me to Target or something, they act like they won the lottery!

That reminds me of the year Einey was 2 – we were supposed to take the Polar Express at Essex and it snowed like a banshee. We drove part of the way there and decided it was too dangerous to continue. So we came home, made hot chocolate and made our own trains out of cardboard boxes. We decorated them and drove them around the house. It was so much fun!

You are awesome parents! We didn’t do nearly enough of that type of fun stuff when the girls were little, and now we need to figure out how to do it with tweens and a teen. Mostly that means Friday nights we all pile onto our bed and eat popcorn while we watch Monk and Psych. We all have the same goofy sense of humor, so there is a lot of laughter (an explaining of the 80′s references:-) Today is gray and yucky here, so it’ll be watching movies and folding laundry together. I have to sneak the weekend work in somewhere.
