Broadcasting… Unscripted. Unedited.

My dream growing up was to be a broadcaster on TV. That was what I wanted to be when I “grew up.”

In elementary school, I used to broadcast my own “news” show with my brothers and sister at home.

In high school, I became the editor of my school’s newspaper, interviewing students/teachers every week… always looking for a story.

In college, I worked at Brown University TV (Brown TV). I lobbied to get a Brown NEWS TV program going. Believe it or not, there weren’t TVs/computers in every classroom or dorm room “way back” then.

I also interned through college at our local ABC Providence affiliate and was offered a job my senior year to work the assignment desk. I turned it down for the Big City. I wanted to experience something different, something new. So I moved to NYC and took a position at Donna Karan, where I stayed for 7 years… and loved every minute.

But the broadcasting dream? Nope, it’s never left me. Never. I have gone on to have 4 beautiful sons. I know that my life is going in exactly the direction it was always meant to go… especially NOW.

I can broadcast information to people with my kids? I can use my writing and my love for being on-camera with my kids? Oh… I am loving this.

Let me introduce you to my first Video Product Review. A Vlommercial, so to speak. Unscripted. Unedited. REAL life. Me. My boys. And some amazing products.
