What to wear, what to wear? Plus a giveaway!

It’s been a long time since this body wore a dress without a “maternity” label. This Saturday I’m attending a family wedding in Pittsburgh, PA. This side of the family hasn’t seen me NOT pregnant in 4 years. Count ‘em up. Not 1. Not 2. Not even 3. But 4 years.

So, of course, I want to try and look fabulous… for Matt too, who am I kidding, he’s the most important one I want to look beautiful (and ultra-fabulous!) for. I tried on about 20 dresses last night and narrowed down my top 3. Now I need some help from my mama (and dad and non-parent) blogging friends – WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

Watch the next 3 clips… see me in the dresses and tell me which one I should go with.

Had to stop reading the other comments. Found myself searching for someone else who liked #1 but didn’t want to be swayed in my choice ranking. You look amazing in all 3 but I’m a traditionalist. #2 is soft/feminine and clearly the choice for a wedding. #3 is clearly your lbd option that you can never be faulted for wearing. #1 is an amazing and bold dress that certainly turn heads your way. Isn’t there something protocolish about not taking attention from the bride?

I like the pink and I also like the chocolate strapless, but NOT with boots. I guess it depends on the wedding time as well. Knowing me, I would probably wear the pink to the wedding and change into the chocolate brown for the reception. LOL. Some sexy heels would look good with either dress.

  3. Lily Kwan says:

I think you should go with dress #3.

  4. J. Campbell says:

I like the first dress. Salmon in the spring. Strapless..not at a wedding unles you have a great beaded wrap.

    And hair up..show your neck.

Love the pink one. It fits well and has great details.

You look great in them all and they are all very pretty. I would choose the brown one, but we all have different tastes, so you choose the one you feel the most comfortable wearing. My little granddaughter is a play doh fanatic, so she would love playing with that play doh. Thanks for having the contest!

The strapless dress looks so good on you.

    Have fun!

  15. Becky says:

I love the pink one and the strapless black one..but it depends on what time the wedding is which one to wear…

A day wedding — the pink one
A night wedding — the black one.

  16. Gianna says:

    I’d go with number three!

  17. Catherine KingChuparkoff says:

I love the pink dress with some strappy heels. OR the black strapless, but no boots, go with a punch of color on your shoes girl! Have a good night out, thats what is the most important thing anyway.

  28. Debra F says:

The third dress looks awesome on you. Have lots of fun….this time you can have a coctail huh?

  29. Pamela White says:

You should wear the black strapless dress but without boots. Use flats or low heels. Have fun at the wedding.

  30. Elizabeth Ray says:

I really think the pink one. I feel like that style is the most flattering to you. (All three look good on you, by the way.) Of course, I grew up in a generation that said no to black at weddings. (It was supposed to be bad luck, or something.) I see that the opinion is spread across the board. Whatever you wear, you’ll look great. Have a wonderful time at the wedding.

  31. Donna K says:

    The pink dress is cute

  32. jodi says:

I love the pink dress..But i think the brown strapless would be a better choice for a fall wedding..Wear strappy heels and no hat..Have a blast at the wedding..

  33. Erica says:

    The chocolate brown dress!

  34. #3 with no boots, but a great pair of heels and no shawl maybe a faux fur wrap. Make sure you accessorize with some blink. An up hair style with sparkly dangling earrings, nice matching necklace and bracelet. Have a great night out!

  35. Lilia says:
