It’s been a long time since this body wore a dress without a “maternity” label. This Saturday I’m attending a family wedding in Pittsburgh, PA. This side of the family hasn’t seen me NOT pregnant in 4 years. Count ‘em up. Not 1. Not 2. Not even 3. But 4 years.
So, of course, I want to try and look fabulous… for Matt too, who am I kidding, he’s the most important one I want to look beautiful (and ultra-fabulous!) for. I tried on about 20 dresses last night and narrowed down my top 3. Now I need some help from my mama (and dad and non-parent) blogging friends – WHICH ONE SHOULD I CHOOSE?

I like the second one – the pink. It is very flattering and looks like something to wear to a wedding!
I’d go with the strapless black dress but forgo the boots and opt for a nice pump and some beautiful jewelry.

Okay so I’m NO fashionista and haven’t worn a dress in many years but I would go with the pink one. The first one I didn’t much like at all and the third one, while it looks great on you, doesn’t speak Wedding to me. It seems better for a night out with a special someone. I gotta say though, it’s hard to make a decision with your baseball cap on LOL. I also wanted to say how awesome it is that you can still fit into the dress you bought before 4 kids!

I love, love, love dress number 1. But then I’m also diggin’ the CHOCOLATE strapless…because it’s fall and chocolate is just great! Have fun at the wedding!!
I love the pink dress, but I think the #3 black looks great on you (with the shawl and necklace you suggested)no boots and no ball cap, tho!

I think the second dress is the most attractive – I like how you stand out in it – the dark ones are more common and less expressive!

Oh man, 4 boys under 4-did I read that right? Why does your house look so tidy. I like the chocolate one, with some kind of pretty shaw (did I spell that right), anyway, I don’t see a problem here-you look good in anything. I want the dough to hand out to the tiny trick or treators.

Well I am no fashion expert at all but after 4 kids in for years I understand you want to show off your body….I just had 2 kids in 2 years so I kinda know what it’s like. But, to be honest I really don’t think you should wear black to a wedding…and if you wore the pink dress while u were pregnant it might not be good to wear it now that you are not…people talk….to be honest you deserve to get a new dress that no one has seen you in even your husband….surprise everyone!! You have a very nice body so something form fitting would be great, with color, and you seem a bit petite so some nice heels would do great. Hope I haven’t thrown you too off but something new for the special body sounds more like it!

I think the 3rd one looks fabulous. Perhaps it can be dressed up with some accessories, but it is really flattering and shows off your curves. It is sexy and classy at the same time. Go for #3!

You look good in all of them and I am torn between 2 & 3. #2 looks perfect for a wedding especially an afternoon wedding. It’s very pretty and I love the color. #3 I think would be better for a evening wedding. I agree that you should ditch the boots.

#1 is my favorite on you. It’s sexy but at the same time seems the most appropriate for a wedding. I love the shoulder on this dress. Very soft and romantic.

The 2nd option looks like you ar most comfortable in. It’s a great color on you for the occassion.
The third dress is my favorite! It just looks really becoming on you and shows your figure well.

Although the 3rd dress (in black) is the sexiest I would have to vote for the pink dress. It still shows off your body and the detail work in the front is beautiful!

I would wear #3, but not with boots. I would wear some diamond or crystal earrings and a delicate diamond or crystal necklace and black dressy shoes or sandals, with a pretty clutch purse. By the way, I have a huge family, and some of my friends and distant family members haven’t seen me not pregnant for several years, although I am not pregnant now (I think.).
I actually LOVE the pink Nicole Miller Dress! It is so soft and feminine. You would stand out in the crowd, but in a GOOD way. You would just blend in with the darker dresses.
If you go with dress #3, which seems to be the most popular, I agree with the others that you should wear some knock out shoes rather than boots.
Oh my goodness, you look great in them all! I think the pink one is my favorite. It has the low neck line, and the beautiful embroidery work in the front, and it’s nice and flowing! Good luck at the wedding! You’ll knock em dead no matter what dress you choose!
