The Golden Globes

The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards are on tonight.
As mothers, we may not get the chance to dress ourselves up from top-to-bottom very often… but when we do… ohhh, when we get that chance to deck ourselves up — it’s quite the occasion.
My advice today for Moms? My Day #11 of Fashion Advice for Moms…
Catch some of the fashions. See what some celebs are wearing. See how they are doing their hair. See what kind of make-up they are sporting.
Get inspired.
It’s a simple piece of advice. It’s an easy piece of advice. But envelope yourself in the gor-geous-ness of the evening.
I get a ton of my inspiration from seeing what celebs are wearing. I get color ideas for dresses… I get ideas for my hair… and you truly get to see the way dresses (on the celebs that will not be making the fashion NO NO list) are supposed to cut and fit and flow on your body.
So go on… enjoy the night. Dress it on up for yourself.
I too get many ideas from watching the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards as well. Last nights dresses I thought were stunning! A grand return to chic. Gorgeous jewels that the actresses “borrowed” always gives me new inspiration for my own collections. Hair do’s were very elegant, although Cameron Diaz should’ve done a little something to her blonde locks, loved her pink Chanel gown. Kudos ladies! A little dreaming is a great escape every now and then!
