Packing and heading on out to SXSW!

Last night I was packing for SXSW.

I started with enough clothes to dress nearly every woman in Texas. So I needed to go through everything and really trim the pile. I just started building quick, “plan ahead” outfits and my pile disappeared pretty quickly.

So… I had my husband grab our video camera and tape me (at about 11PM) putting the finishing touches into my bag. This morning I just grabbed the other essentials – toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant and, of course, my flat iron!

    Great video! I was packing and unpacking my suitcase for about 3 days before we went on vacation a few weeks ago. I tend to do the same thing with bringing enough clothes to dress multiple people – but I will usually pare down to bring only versatile things I know I’ll use.
