I just walked through the door. I’m home from SXSW! I had such an amazing, amazing time… BUT, I’m glad to be home. Seeing the boys jumping up and down as I came down the stairs at the airport brought tears to my eyes.
Which brings me to my quick fashion advice for today… (and tomorrow, the vlogging starts up again!) WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHING WHILE FLYING!
Common sense, right? Well… one would think.
I was next to a woman on the way home who dressed in tight (VERY tight) jeans, a blazer with a turtleneck and high heels. Now… this is an outfit I would actually wear out and about (minus the extra tightness in jeans) but, this woman – I felt so bad. She was 100% uncomfortable. She adjusted her jeans and then re-adjusted the whole entire flight. The blazer was too tight.
And there I was in my fleece pants… fleece zip-up and sneakers. Yup, very comfortable. And! I brought a scarf to rest my head on… ahhh, very comfy.
My favorite part of today??
Being able to hug my boys!

Who’s smiling bigger? Mama or babies? This surprised me, but I almost cried when I saw my boys…I was SO GLAD to see ‘em!

What a great picture! I used to travel several times a month, and you are so right – I always tried to look put together, but comfort above all was the most important thing!
