Fashion Don't for Moms – the Mini, MINI!

We went to DC this past weekend and had a BLAST! It’s about a 7 hour car ride from Rhode Island – but when you toss in the fact that we stop every couple of hours for diaper changes and food/bottle/sippy cup breaks – it turns out to be about 8-10 hours.
It was on the way home – last night – that I came across a huge FASHION DON’T for mothers! At one of the breaks off the highway for food/bathrooms in Maryland, I saw a mother with her 3 little girls walking into the bathrooms. The mother had on a mini skirt that barely covered her – well… bummie! It was so short – if she needed to pick something up – it wasn’t going to happen without flashing every tourist in the place. Her daughters had to be between the ages of 5 and 13, and this is what they were being taught as acceptable attire.
Hmm…
I think once we hit a certain age – oh… I don’t know – maybe over 6 years old, the mini, mini should be tossed away.

what do you think is an acceptable length mini?
I totally agree! Mini’s are not for moms. Just above the knee is a great length though!
Sadly, have you seen the length of skirts?
I’m only 27, so I’m hoping to still be able to wear cute, non-granny looking clothes, and lately, that’s your choice: short, booty skirts, or ones that go to your ankles.
Showing your assets is never cool!
{giggle}
Great to finally meet you!
See ya in a few days!
