Interviewing Kelly Ripa for Greener Days

I have always loved Kelly Ripa. Loved her.

From her days as Hayley on All My Children, to seeing her nearly every day when I interned at ABC’s The View during the summer of 1999… to seeing her become Regis’ sidekick Monday through Friday on Regis and Kelly. She’s always been someone I’ve admired and just thought was wonderfully entertaining and oh-so-genuine.

So, when I was offered the opportunity to interview Kelly Ripa via webcam this past Monday afternoon, I jumped at the chance!

Kelly launched Electrolux’s newest (and oh-so-fabulous) eco-friendly washer & dryer in (limited edition) “Kelly Green” just in time for Earth Day and she helped kick off an online campaign to encourage people to renew their commitment to living green by planting a virtual flower for a friend. For every virtual flower planted at electroluxappliances.com, Electrolux will donate $1 to Global Green to help support their healthy green schools initiatives across America. How amazing is this campaign for our kids and for future generations…
