Waiting for Mommy (be still, my heart)
Yesterday, while I was out for a run, my mom found Ryder waiting at the living room window for me to return.
I just can’t even take the cuteness in these photos, knowing that Ryder was waiting patiently for Mommy to come home.
Later in the evening, while out on a walk with Ryder and Seth, I ran into some people in town who wanted to pet them. I stopped and chatted with them for a while, and as I walked away one of the women said, “These guys are your kids, aren’t they?”
I just smiled and nodded, happy that the love I have for them is so evident.
Oh my what cuteness in this photo. That’s puppy love for sure.
That is so stinkin’ cute! This week, I was out of town with the kids and my husband called to tell me that Hurley (our lab) was moping around because we were away. As soon as we got back, he was back to happy puppy!

Those pictures are adorable. I had this happen with a dog that we had years ago. There is nothing like the feeling that it gives you. I miss the attention. We live in So Cal so no more dogs for us. There is just no where for them to run.
