I commented on this on FB, but what a great post! So often I take along a camera and don’t do anything with it – but this made me realize that that’s just as wonderful, in its own separate way, as having a day full of snaps.

I remember that Summer well Janie. I know how much you and Audrey enjoyed New York City that Summer. Didn’t get the whole story on “Forklift” back then, maybe now 10 years later you”ll share.

This was a beautiful post. It’s always so nice to have pictures to remember occasions, but you’re right… you miss out on a lot when you’re behind the camera lens all the time.

Reading this makes me want to visit NYC again! I haven’t been since I was a child!

I find that I’m often doing the same thing with taking photos. I get so involved with living and doing that I totally forget to take pictures!
