I have been trying to comment all day, but it keeps saying unavailable...so now I will do it again! What an awesome day you had Sharon. I think of all the memories Maddie will have in years to come of her special Grandma taking the time to listen to her and what she does is important and really matters.
I also wanted to thank you for your encouragement to me and the comments you left about my long road. I had not even thought about a large calendar like you said. I am going to get one and hang in my kitchen. I have the perfect spot for it. I can take a picture and even blog about it. I have so many friends who care and you are exceptionally uplifting to me! And, I didn't even have to pay a co-pay! I love free advise. And I cherish our friendship.

As I sit here on the other side of the country, I feel like I'm suddenly on the east coast, enjoying the afternoon with you. I have been following your blog for over a year now and I always look forward to reading what you have to say. Thank you!

It's true what they about the best things in life aren't things. And the best things in life are free. Spending time with the grandkids is so special. I think you love it as much as I do.

Let none of us forget that Maddie was also walking with her beautiful grandmother.

Once again, you bring tears. What an incredibly beautifully written story, Sharon. And it looks as though, happily, Maddie will one day soon be walking in your shoes.
