DIY Halloween Costumes for MOMS

If your kids are anything like my kids… they want me to dress up for Halloween. Last year was the first year the “begging” started. My husband (the ever-loving-Halloween-Dad) donned a Chicken Suit for his sons. I knew I had to do something, so I pulled together a “punk” look. My sons didn’t know what the “punk” look was, but they thought I looked funny in a purple wig (I still had from college) and crazy makeup.

So this year… the challenge was on. I don’t like buying costumes for myself. I’m already trying to justify the
$100 on costumes for the boys. I needed some DIY Halloween Costumes. Here are my “Mom” ideas:

  1. I knew I should have checked my reader before going to the elementary school Halloween parade! I could have been all these things and my costume from my closet would have been far more interesting than the orange shirt I wore! Thanks for the ideas for tomorrow! :)

  2. Love your ideas!

I have almost all of the things in #1 except the boots…hmmm, maybe I’ll be a Hawaiian cowgirl wearing slippas ;)
