Fashion Advice for Moms: Super”MOM” Capes!
OK… not really capes, moms (although we do deserve them!). I had a few women email me last month asking about capes. “Fashion Do or Fashion Don’t?”
Immediately when “capes” come to mind, I think of my 3 oldest sons running around the house in these -
And believe me, that’s an every day thing in my house.
But CAPES… right now… are VERY popular and chic and hip for WOMEN! This “fashion” season I have seen some gorgeous capes in stores… wool ones, cashmere ones, cotton ones, fleece ones, etc. Capes are comfortable and feminine and elegant and sophisticated and different. I love the different styles that are out there… some with hardware, some with buttons, plaid, striped, solids. Just beautiful. YES! Capes this season – especially right now with the temps getting a little cooler. What a fabulous selection for outerwear. A HUGE FASHION DO!
So join in on the fun with a cape… a fashiony one!
I just can’t do this look….not sure why….but it so doesn’t appeal to me…..feel like I am so fashion forward in my look…but this one….not so much.
LOL… I hear you! In fashion it’s to “each’s own!”
This has shades of a stiff British nanny for me – so not my style. I’m glad I’m in Florida then I wont have to play the fashion victim in this style lol!
Hey….totally not trying to bash your blog entry today….please know that….I’m just not so much into the capes as I can see others are agreeing with me ….I’m usually right with you…in fact, I went right out and bought a pair of ballerina flats after the blog entry on those….and I don’t ever wear flat shoes! ….so know I’m a fan!
