Brazilian Blowout and/or Keratin Treatment – would you do it?
My hair stylist (who happens to also be my good friend, Leah) has been telling me for 2 years about this “straightening process.” My hair is naturally frizzy… it needs to be tamed like a lion. I quite literally have to wash it at night… then straighten it with my flat iron… and then sleep on it for 2 nights (not 1, 2!) until it’s “perfect.” It’s quite the process.
I don’t know why I have put off getting the Brazilian Blowout or a Keratin Treatment done to my hair. I’m pretty much a prime candidate. I don’t know what got into me, but 2 weeks ago I thought, “That’s it! I have to do something!” And so… I had the process done to my hair at La La Luxe in Providence, RI Wednesday afternoon.
i just went to a party for mom’s hosted at a salon and they were all talking about the brazalian blowout and i felt their hair and it was awesome and i really want to get it….
I’ve never heard of this before but your hair looks great! I’m definitely NOT a candidate for this 🙂
Love it – so jealous!!
Ok, Audrey, keep us posted after Day 4 and a few weeks. You may just be my inspiration.
I love it. I certainly don’t need that treatment as I have no frizz, no body, no nothing to my hair. Just fine, straight, lifeless hair.
Awesome, Audrey. I’m so excited for you, and for me – I’m going to get mine done in about a month. Got it scheduled and everything! Can’t wait.
I just saw a notice at my salon that they are offering this. I’m curious to see how it looks after you wash it!
Such a small world! Leah does my hair too! I absolutely love her and I will be asking for this when I go in next week 🙂
It looks wonderful !! Can you be sure to update in a couple days/weeks how you like it? Also do you know what the usual cost is?
I’ve seen Egyptian salons do a mean Brazilian blowout. It’s a great way to get bone straight results with no chemicals. Your hair looks fabulous!
Looks great! Just wondering, can you apply other hair treatments, such as color, and if so, how long do you to wait?
I once splurged on this after a horrid haircut left me looking like a mushroom. Spendy? I don’t know if I could justify it now, but at the time, it was it was totally worth it. I need to make a beautician friend I can barter with. 😉
