Celebrity Mom Fashion: Sarah Jessica Parker

First, Sarah Jessica Parker is my FASHIONISTA QUEEN. She just is. I have been a Sarah Jessica fan long before the days of Sex and the City… she’s one of my “girls”! Since the smashing-hit of Sex and the City, Sarah Jessica Parker has been deemed (rightfully so) an American Fashion Icon. Her character – Carrie Bradshaw – changed fashion. All of a sudden, her fashions on the show became a character. But the fashion needed to be pulled off… not everyone could do that. What I love about Parker’s (and Carrie’s) fashion sense is that she doesn’t follow any fashion rules, she wears what she loves and what she feels good in. Whether it’s a statement necklace or shoe. Whether it’s a fabulous tulle top or a bomber jacket with trousers. She works it.

But… it’s seeing her in regular “mom attire” that makes her that typical every day mom. Without the camera rolling… without the red carpet… with the parties, this is SJP. Every single mom can relate to this outfit…

But how is it that she just makes it look oh-so-cool!? The east coast has been so chilly lately! Here’s to hoping for some warmth and sun soon!
