Barry's comment just made me smile. On our second date, Shane carved our initials into a picnic table. I wonder if they're still there?

Hi Sharon, I have a huge favor to ask. Could you please comment on my duaghters most recent blog post? I think you have that special touch and loving nature that might get through to her now. It's a post about her running and how she needs to stop, but she is having a really hard time with this. Her post is..... http://justanotherreasontoeatchocolate.blogspot.com/2010/08/its-still-good-plan-though.html
Thank you so much. I just really think you can help. Love you!

I agree with Barry and Nancy. Please write a children's book based on this! I so love your stories, Sharon. You are so, so gifted with words and I really believe your ability to write and tell stories is such a blessing to so many people...myself included. I always feel like I'm right there with you when I read. This reminds me of a story that I'll have to share soon of my own tree. Ah, the memories!

Love to you!

I agree with Nancy & Barry...OMG Sharon, pass the tissue box please. This is the most amazing story and I have ready many of your amazing stories. I will never look at carved initials in the same way again. That tree does have character and I can why it is happy. What you teach your grandkids on a simple walk to the playground amazes me. I want to learn from you.

I'm not one for mess'n with life's process but I'm with William to some degree. We don't have to remove SK + RG, but we are absolutely going to New Hampshire to add SC + BC. I just started the car Sharon... let's pick up William and Alex and get going! Oh... and I think you should write a book about this beautifully told true story.

So, today was your day to make me cry. Happy tears though. I could see the whole thing play out like I was watching a movie. What a wonderful addition to your 57 in 52. Be sure and tell us the rest of the story. I especially want to know what the boys have to say about it. I love your family and you!
