Driving with a Blogging Friend

In “real” life, I’ve driven with most of my friends.  Either they’ve driven with me, or I’ve driven with them.

It’s funny, it’s something I don’t even think about in daily life… my friend’s driving.

Having been a blogger for about 3 1/2 years now, I’ve met some pretty incredible people, some of whom have become very good friends. Vera Sweeney is one of them. I met Vera in February and we just hit-it-off immediately. We even went into business together after that trip (hello, Getting Gorgeous!). So this past weekend I took my family to her house for the weekend. We just wanted to have a relaxing weekend, kick back, do a little work and have some fun.

It made me laugh when I got into the car with her to go to one of her friend’s houses in her town because it was so foreign to our friendship. Drive with Vera? Does she know how to drive? I thought she could only blog… Boy… did she get a kick out of driving with me and making me laugh!
