11 months from today I will be Mrs. Govednik!
Today is my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary.
They have the kind of marriage I have always wanted.
They are best friends. They truly enjoy each other’s company. They believe in each other’s hopes and dreams.
They have built a life filled with love for each other and their family.
(Lucky them and lucky us.)
It is fitting that I will marry Brian 11 months from today, my parents’ anniversary, because I plan to use their marriage as our marriage blueprint.
Yes, 11 months from today we will be husband and wife.
And I hope that on July 14, 2046 (wow!) we are celebrating 35 years together with as much love and happiness as my parents are today.

I cannot think of two better people to model your marriage after. I only know your family via the worldwide web, but I feel like I have known you forever. You are definitely my kind of people. By the way, my husband and I will be married 38 years on September 8th.
