35 Years Ago This Moment…

At this very moment, 35 years ago, I was pinning a comb of fresh daisies in my hair…

Our wedding guests were arriving at St. Joseph Church’s on Hope Street in Providence, RI.

The sun was dancing high in the warm August morning sky.

I was still Sharon Ann Klaczynski.

In a little bit, I would marrying this handsome guy in the beige tux…

And change the name I had been carrying around for almost 24 years.

I was filled with HOPE, just like the name of the street we would be married on, where our guests were arriving, where I would walk in with one name and walk out with another.

My HOPE on that day turned into every one of my DREAMS coming true… with even more to come!

I love you, Barry D. Couto… my husband, my HOPE and my LIFE!

Happy Anniversary, Sharon and Barry. I enjoy reading your blog and the photos remind me of past happy times. Stumbled upon your blog after reading a Projo article. Congratulations on your wonderful and large family and grandchildren. Please give my best regards to your mom. Fun to see the old photo of the two of us primping before your big event. I am blessed with 2 grandsons.
