Toy Review: Let’s Rock Elmo
My sons have been watching Sesame Street all their lives. It is – without doubt – a staple in our home. I love Sesame Street because I love how it teaches and encourages children to sing, laugh, play, dance, count and so, so much more! I remember watching Sesame Street as a child myself… and it’s amazing to think, that with all that is offered on TV today, my sons LOVE Sesame Street. It warms my heart.
One of their favorite characters is Elmo.
And I have to be honest, he’s one of my favorite character’s, too!
If you’re anything like us, you’re going to LOVE Playskool’s Let’s Rock Elmo! We recently were sent one to check out and the boys went crazy, they love Let’s Rock Elmo. You see, in our house, music and dancing is a daily “thing”… the boys love to throw dance parties all the time and pretend that they’re a band! I joke with them and say… you guys should be the Mac 4!
And as a mom, it’s toys like Let’s Rock Elmo that I want my kids to be playing with… here’s a little taste as to why…
You see. The boys won’t stop singing and dancing and making music with Elmo, Cookie Monster and Grover. I love how the different elements of music – the drums, the tambourine, the guitar, the keyboard and the microphone all come together. I also love how Elmo sings songs that my sons know and love… not to mention, how everything works beautifully and “magically” together. When I first saw how the guitar syncs up to Elmo, I was blown away. I thought it was so cool and so much fun for my sons to play with.
These are going to be some popular toys this holiday season! And I have to tell you, I can see 100% why! I absolutely recommend picking these toys up… and it was great seeing my Alexander (he’s 6) play along with his younger brothers, too!
