62 Games to Play with your Kids

62 Games to Play with your Kids

My sons LOVE to play games.

OK, I’ll admit it, mostly video games.

They’re kid-gamers, and it’s something I’m not always find about when it comes to playtime. They have limited time on their “machines,” and we are very good at keeping them active and busy with activities… but, I want to make sure they know the TRUE meaning of playing games.

My son William loves to ask me questions. The other night I said to him in passing, “When I was your age, I didn’t have video games. I played dozens and dozens of games with my brothers and sister.”

So he asked me, “What kind of games?”

I started rattling off game after game after game. William couldn’t believe I knew about SO MANY games, so he said to me… “Can we play ALL those with you?”

So I challenged myself to come up with as many games as I could for me to play with the boys. I wanted board games, outdoor games and card games.

I drafted a list of 62 Games to Play with my sons… and we’re going to do it! I want to show them that there is a way to have fun and play games without plugging something in. 🙂
