Audrey’s Notes from Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Charlotte Ronson
Charlotte Ronson.
She’s known for her divine grunge looks and styles that transform into cool-wear.
I like a few of her pieces, not usually all of them.
I always love seeing what she comes out with because she’s young and fresh, and I feel like if there’s a young designer with her pulse on what’s coming, it’s her.
She stayed away from her “usual” looks and opted for a more classic feel… “I was inspired by my English heritage,” she told Style.com.
Here were the trends I took from her Collection…
1. Purples, greens and reds stuck out as element colors
2. She definitely stuck with her classic patterns and florals, not as much… but they were there.
3. Leather touches
My feelings on Charlotte Ronson Collection…
I was pleasantly surprised and really loved ALL the pieces. I think they are wearable and very fashion-forward for work and for events. I loved how she brought in purples and greens and patterns. I’m a HUGE fan of ANYTHING green and she didn’t disappoint!
