Audrey’s Notes from Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Nicole Miller

Audrey’s Notes from Fall 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week: Nicole Miller

I (also) got to meet and interview Nicole Miller this past September during her Spring 2013 fashion show.

I was impressed with her passion to want to share her collection and talk to as many people as she could backstage. I always wonder if the designer’s are jaded or (quite honestly) just don’t care to speak to anyone before their show. Though I wasn’t VOGUE calling for an interview, I appreciated that she treated me and the others as if we were Vogue. 🙂

I have bought a few Nicole Miller’s throughout the last couple of years, her clothing really fits me well and works well for my body type. I love her fit and the wear-ability of her fashions.

Here are a few trends that popped out to me from Nicole Miller’s Fall 2013 Show…

1. Plunging necklines

2. Sexy black – lots of leather

3. Fur touches

4. Fedora may be making a Fall comeback

5. Patterns galore!

6. Love seeing the true FALL colors that she used – spice, yellow, mustard, green, deep blue

My feelings on Nicole Miller…

I have to say, I liked the Collection. There were pieces that stood out more to me than others. I love the colors she chose to bring into her Fall Collection, I feel the are absolutely beautiful. I’m a fan of the black. It seems very cutting edge to me and sexy. I’m also loving the kick-butt Fedora! 🙂

oooooh! YES to this collection and a MASSIVE YES to the third ensemble! I want that skirt and belt…though it would probably fit more like a maxi skirt on me (I’m 5’3″…but my drivers license says 5’4″ *oh vanity*!).
