Maternity Fashion Advice: What to Wear POST-Pregnancy

I’m literally 6 days post-pregnancy. I had my beautiful Victoria on Tuesday, July 9th. Here I am, 6 days later at home, and I’m trying to find the best clothing to wear that is:
1) Comfortable
2) Cozy
3) Fits well on my body

I had a c-section, which adds to the difficulty in finding clothing that works well with my body, but it’s important for me to find clothing that is just COMFORTABLE and won’t bother or irritate my belly.

So What to Wear POST-Pregnancy?

I have 4 items that I have been wearing non-stop. I wore these items at the hospital while I was there and I have worn them while I’ve been home. These 5 items have (1) thing in common… they’re not too tight, they’re not too loose, they’re just perfect. They also have a LOT of give in them, so my belly is bound too tight. I know that you don’t loose your belly overnight, but it’s also important not to try to hide it too much with items that just roll down your body.

Here is what I have been obsessed with:

1) Velour Pants with Drawstring — I love these because I can make these as loose as I want. They are truly the most comfy thing in the world… I LOVE!

2) Maxi Dress with Ruching — I wore these maxis throughout my pregnancy and I’m telling you, I’m not parting with them yet! I have worn my maxi dresses throughout the last 2 days. They’re SO comfy and they fit so well on my body. I just love them!

3) Tanks with Boxers — I literally have been wearing my husband’s boxers. They are SO comfy and just fit perfectly on my belly. I’ve been pairing with my maternity cotton tanks. Perfect laying around the house outfit!

4) Hipster Undies — GREAT undies. Period. They don’t ride up. They ride perfectly on my hips. FABULOUS option.
