Best Sleepover Movies

Best Sleepover Movies for Kids is something that I’ve been researching like crazy lately. My kids are JUST at the age where sleepovers are a fun thing to do. I know when it comes to have a bunch of kids over I need to have plans in place. I do not want kids just sitting around or running around or causing trouble. When I was a kid the best thing that a mom or dad did was put on a movie when it was time to turn it down for the night. This is a strategy I’ve been doing and will keep doing when it comes to having kids over our house for a big sleepover. The big question is – Best Sleepover Movies?? What are they??

OK… since sleepovers are becoming a thing that my sons are asking to do over and over and over again. I get it – believe me, I was the SAME way at their age. It’s exciting and it’s fun for them. But here’s the thing – you need to have things to do. Movies are the easiest activity because it’s something everyone can do together. In my opinion, especially with a house full of kids, it’s the best option. I’ve come up with a list of movies that are great for kids – boys and girls – to watch during sleepovers.

I thought it would make the most sense to bullet the movies out for boys and girls. Not that boys wouldn’t want to watch some of the girl movies and not that girls wouldn’t want to watch some of the boy movies. I just wanted to create a list that was pretty tight and would be a good list to work off of for the kids. I’m a BIG fan of being prepared, so to have a list to work off of right now – well, it can’t hurt!

I actually asked my sons and their friends for some suggestions!! What do you think?

OK mamas – what am I missing? What would you add? Anything right off the bat? I’m thinking this is a pretty good list, but I’m not sure what I’m missing! I kind of want to watch all 20 of these movies with my husband right now! I hope this list makes you smile and brings you back to some good movies that you maybe haven’t seen in awhile. May we all be ready and “armed” for a fab sleepover for our kids and their friends!

Happy Sleepover to the Moms and Dads (and kids!) out there!
