About Audrey McClelland

Audrey left the fashion world of Donna Karan International in NYC to raise her brood of boys (4 of them!) in her home state of Rhode Island. She’s learned that you can take the girl out of the Fashion District, but you can’t take the Fashion District out of the girl. Audrey brings her fashion expertise and mom experience to Mom Generations. But here... on "Audrey Confidential" she's just "MOM."

Macy’s Spotlights the Spirit of Brasil this Spring

I had the pleasure of heading to Macy’s this evening at my local Providence Place Mall to attend Macy’s Spirit of Brasil Event. I took along 2 of my favorite people in the world — my mother and my son Henry. Henry started off the evening with some shades, so he was already in the spirit! Walking into Macy’s, I [...]

bareMinerals Faux Tan Collection at QVC

I’ll admit it, I’m a tanaholic. There, I said it. I’m just someone who loves a good sun-kissed look on my skin. But here’s the deal — I refuse to sit out in the sun and I refuse to go under the bulbs. It’s not safe and it’s not healthy. So… that being said, I’ve had to get creative in [...]

USTA Joins Mario Tennis Open to Help Young Children

There’s one thing my sons save their money up for… Nintendo games. It’s pretty simple, if they get money — they all pool it together and save up for something really cool. I have to admit, I remember doing the same thing with my brothers and sister when I was younger.  We had the total “old school” Nintendo system and [...]

Barbie Dolls of the World

I’m a HUGE fan of Barbie. HUGE. When I was a little girl, my Barbie Collection was under my bed. I had about 25 Barbie dolls and they were the best dresses Barbie’s ever. Being a mom of all boys, I have to say… I wish there was a Barbie in my house! My nieces have tons of them, and [...]

The Beauty Benefits of Proactiv

As a beauty blogger, I’m asked all the time to recommend products for moms (and their kids) to achieve clear skin.  It’s one of those “beauty dilemmas” that can be a very big deal, especially for teenagers.  When I was a teenager, I had horrible acne on my forehead, I hated it.  I actually remember wearing baseball hats whenever I [...]
