Unilever had the incredible idea of creating a Unilever Penthouse at BlogHer 2010. They had a different event each day centered and focused around their specific brands. I had the pleasure of heading to their Penthouse in Saturday evening to experience the Unilever treatment!

One of my favorite experiences was getting a foot and hand massage with Suave’s NEW fragranced Body Lotions. I don’t have the time in my life to get massaged too often (OK, never!), so I soaked up this experience as much as I possibly could! Suave introduced 3 new lotions this past July – Suave Naturals Mango Mandarin, Suave Naturals Wild Cherry Blossom and Suave Naturals Lavender Vanilla (also newly formulated). I’m a lover of the scent of vanilla… so I chose the Lavender Vanilla Lotion for my massage.

After being on my feet for 3 days straight – this foot massage was heavenly… and my hand massage, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! But… what got me the most was the scent. It wasn’t too much, but it wasn’t too little. I’m don’t like overpowering scents, they automatically give me a headache, I loved that the lotion gave off a clean, light scent. It also stayed with me ALL DAY long, even into the next day! I have never gotten that off a lotion before, this amazingly long-lasting scent. I felt like I’d be getting my money’s worth when buying it because it will actually last. I also love how the lotion went on smooth and was absorbed quickly. It wasn’t greasy or oily… I could do the “snap test.” My husband laughs when I say that, but it’s true – if I can snap my fingers, then it’s absorbed. I cannot tell you how many lotions are too thick and too greasy for even a simple snap. As every woman can attest, we don’t want lotion residue as to where we have been around our home from the lotion we use.

I highly recommend trying out the new Suave Naturals Body Lotions… and also their Body Washes!

I tried the Lavender Vanilla Body Wash on myself and it’s just as incredible as the Lotion. It conditions my skin and leaves such a wonderful scent behind. I love that my son actually noticed the scent on the way to a family cookout the other night. He asked what smelled like “ice cream?” Aww… me! Not to mention – it’s only $2.50! You can’t beat that!

1.  It’s in NYC, baby!! What a GREAT place to have a conference!

2.  I have to say it… Getting Gorgeous – Friday from 10am-4PM.  Vera Sweeney and I have worked our boo-tays off for this event!

3.  Starbucks on every block…

4.  Rooming with Colleen Padilla… one of my best friends and book writing partner.

5.  The fact that I actually get to SEE people and not just talk to them via Skype, Twitter, Facebook or through their blog’s comment section.

6.  Hosting a Stride Rite party on Friday night that I’m super excited about!  Project Runway’s Jonathan Joseph Peters will be there!

7.  It’s a GIRLS’ WEEKEND… !! Laughs.  Fun.  And more laughs.

8.  Meeting Nate Berkus!  OMG, I love him… thanks, Meredith!

9.  Having my husband video Getting Gorgeous and Stride Rite party and finally get to meet some of my closest friends from “work!”

10.  Did I mention… it’s in NYC!!?? Beyond excited!! The City that never, ever sleeps!
