Polarn O. Pyret - I think I love you.

Polarn O. Pyret (Sweden’s leading children’s wear brand has come to the States!) promises clothing that looks great and plays well. It’s a dream/wish/hope for all moms. Kids like to play – and when they do, they put “mileage” on their clothing. It’s essential to have clothing your kids can run, hop, roll, dance, skip, dig and just BE in… and still have it look GOOD at the end of the day.

My kids love to be outside. They love to run around the backyard. They love to head to the “center of town” and run around the baseball fields. They love to head to the beach and collect shells and rocks (and toss sand into the water!). They love to just be OUTDOORS. I need clothing to stand up to this. (Not to mention… with 4 boys, I need to make sure the clothing I’m investing in can stand up to the test of time. I pass down most clothing – so I don’t mind investing a few extra dollars in clothing that I know will last – in the long run, it ends up saving me money.)

So I tried out Polarn O. Pyret! They sent me 2 jackets to try out. I decided to get them in Ben and Alexander’s sizes. They are (dare I say it) my most active. I’m constantly chasing these guys around and down.

The Windfleece Jacket is the first one I opened up…

It’s funny… the boys had fleece jackets last year – and they loved them. This year I didn’t re-order any because I figured with winter coming, I wasn’t sure how much usage they would get out of them. Oddly enough in New England — it’s been in the 50′s and 60′s on some days… hardly the kind of temps where you need a SKI JACKET! So this jacket is going to come in handy!

So what do I love about this WINDFLEECE? (Besides Benjamin looking so cute!)

The jacket is wind-resistant and water-repellent (heaven for ANY mom to hear!). It’s also anti-pill… so you know the quality is high and it will LAST. Benjamin personally loved the thumb holes in the wrist cuffs… he thought he was super cool showing his brothers his latest “trick.” BUT – most important – the fleece is WARM, COZY and COMFY!

The Check Print Shell Jacket was the next one I opened up…

I have to admit… my personal favorite! Alexander looked absolutely ADORABLE bundled up in it!

So what do I love about the Check Print Jacket? First… it’s classically cool. The check print is just such a fabulous way to get a relaxed, yet stylish look. I love that there’s a detachable hood – so I get the option to have it on or off. I love that there’s soft fleece over the zip on the chin – especially since Alexander (and Ben) have extremely sensitive and dry skin in the winter. I love that the Jacket acts as an outer layer shell… there is plenty of room to add a sweater or fleece underneath. I can’t say enough about this Jacket… I absolutely love it!

Polarn O. Pyret carries WAY MORE items beyond Boys Outerwear. There’s stuff for Mamas-to-be, Babies, Girls and (yes!!) more BOYS (sizes for Kids up to size 11)!! I adore their Stripes Collection… if saying it now… for my friends with GIRLS – they are getting that adorable Classic Stripe Tank Suit for the summer from me!

You will just be in love… clothing has never felt and looked so GOOD!
