Fashion Advice – Get some GOOD JEANS!

Jeans are (by far) my favorite item of clothing. I love the versatility of jeans — truly, anything goes. You can dress them up, dress them down… all with simple and fast changes.

Here’s a video of a quick change — (sorry about the lighting on this video!)

  • I’m so jealous you found those shoes for $50! I want to go shopping with you!

  • Now is the time to buy some jeans, too! The changing on seasons means the changing of “styles” and a lot of jeans will go on sale [because they're switching to capris].
Also, a lot of “big ticket” names that you can usually only find in department stores are moving to mass merchandisers as well [like LEI to Walmart]. Same quality, same styles, just CHEAPER :)
And those jeans look much better with those sneakers than the tapered ;)

  • ah, for me it’s aeropostale’s i found at a yard sale, like new. problem: i can’t find any more like them!!! and i LOVE these jeans!!!!

  • I LOVE that you advise getting great jeans! They are so totally worth it.

  • Great post! Oh my stars, I love the shoes! I live in jeans and it’s hard to find the right fit, but once you do, they’re like your best friend.

  • Great tip. I live in jeans. I don’t have any really good designer ones right now, but I do have some cute Gap jeans that I wear all the time. No mom jeans!

  • Audrey… I saw some Levi jeans while at Macy’s today, and I thought about your post. Remember that when I was young, Levi’s were about the only brand available, and we ladies had to buy men’s! The waist was always so huge in order to accommodate the hips! Well, I didn’t have time to try any on, but I could be tempted to go back. Retro? Crazy? In or out?

    You can come with me!!

    Love, Mom

  • Okay, chick, where are we shopping when you come to Pittsburgh? Those shoes are so envy worthy – I love them! I actually just bought two pair of fabulous jeans today from Christopher & Banks. Not trendy name, but cute and comfortable. Just my style. Paid $18 and $12 for them. I broke my $15 rule, but the $18 pair had tummy slimming panels and fit really well! Loved this post, Audrey.

  • I need new jeans. I found 3 pairs of great fitting ones before my honeymoon (4 years ago!) and now they are all hole-y…
