5 Trendy Business Casual Summer Looks.

This weekend I was sent a message on Twitter from one of my friends asking me for ideas on some trendy business casual summer looks. I loved this request because summertime is my favorite season and right now there are some really cool trends that can be brought right into the office. **I’m hoping people realize on their own that not all of these outfits are acceptable for every work environment. I’d hate going to court and seeing my lawyer dresses in shorts. 😉 Unless – of course – she’s Ally McBeal. 1. Bubble Skirt, Cropped Jacket and Black Tank…

What I love about this look is that you have the professionalism in the cropped jacket… but the bubble skirt, sandals and eye-popping jewelry really make this look trendy. I especially love any skirt right now with detail included on it, it’s so chic.

2. Blue Blouse and White Capris…

What I love about this look is the simplicity in the trendiness. You have basic pieces here – blue blouse and white capris – then you’re amping it up with fabulous jewelry and espadrilles. And remember – you are always safe wearing nude-colored heels, sandals or espadrilles because they match everything!

3. Tiered Tank and Striped Skirt…

Don’t be afraid to mix colors and prints… that’s trendy within itself! I love seeing this vertical stripe skirt with this blue silk tiered tank, it’s very classic looking, while being chic. I mixed it with simple jewelry, nothing too flashy.

4. It’s all about the shorts!

You may or may not be able to get away with this at work… shorts! I love this look because you’ve got the classic boyfriend blazer and white blouse on top, mixed with some shorts! Add some heels and you’re off.

5. The Summer Scarf…

I’m all about the summer scarf. I love this trend because it’s so easy to pull off. Grab a pair of khaki capris, a tank and a pair of heels – and accessorize with your scarf!
