Bumps and Babies: Summer Infant Baby Touch® Digital Color Video Monitor

My Victoria is here!

It’s been an amazing 3 weeks of watching her grow and get comfortable with being here. I still can’t look at her without the pure amazement that we have another baby here… and a girl! It’s an amazing feeling.

Before Victoria was born, we prepped as best as we could for her arrival. We created a nursery for her. We bought a carseat and stroller. We stocked up on diapers and wipes and creams. We bought tons of pink clothing! We just got ready for things that we knew she’d need now.

As she’s getting a little bit older, we’re starting to prep her room for the next few months. In about 6-8 weeks, Victoria will start sleeping in her nursery throughout the night and also for nap time! So… this means I need a baby monitor to keep an eye on her!

Summer Infant has an amazing Baby Touch® Digital Color Video Monitor that we have and are excited to use!

The BabyTouch Digital Color Video Monitor is an innovative baby device. I think it’s exceptional for parents to have these options when it comes to sleep time for their baby. You like to make sure they’re safe and healthy, and this monitor puts your fears at ease.

Here are some amazing features that new-parents will be ecstatic to see:

Digital Video Monitor with Color LCD Touchscreen
The Summer Infant BabyTouch Digital Color Video Monitor features a 3-1/2-inch LCD video screen for clear, crisp images. The color touchscreen is as easy and intuitive to use as a smartphone and allows you to control the camera’s zoom, pan, scan, video volume, and brightness settings remotely. With a sleek, slim design, the handheld video monitor includes a magnetic docking station for convenience.

Wireless Camera with Talk-Back Feature
The wireless camera can be placed on a tabletop or mounted to a wall with included hardware and security clips. In addition, the talk-back feature allows you to soothe and talk to your baby from another room. For monitoring additional children/rooms, of up to four rooms, you can connect up to three additional cameras (sold separately) to your monitor.

Secure Connection with Long Range
For a secure and private connection, the BabyTouch Digital Color Video Monitor operates on 100 percent digital technology. It offers a 400-foot range indoors for monitoring throughout your home. The video monitor automatically finds the optimal channel for the best video and sound quality possible.

Battery Options for Portability
Both the monitor and camera function with AC adapters, and the video monitor can run for up to 10 hours on its integrated rechargeable battery. The monitor features a battery indicator to show battery status along with a recharging base. The camera comes with a battery pack that uses four AA batteries (not included) for extra portability.

Convenient Features for Parents

For nighttime convenience, the BabyTouch Digital Color Video Monitor features automatic black-and-white night vision that enables continuous monitoring in darkened rooms. The monitor’s video on/off button and an automatic time-out feature save battery life while its LED sound activated lights provide monitoring even with the volume off. The belt-clip and built-in kickstand are great for portability while USB and A/V jacks allow you to display the camera’s images on your television (USB not included).

I am absolutely in love with these features. I feel safe. And I also love that I can check on my baby girl when I’m away for business. This is such an innovative product and I’m beyond excited to use it for my beautiful Victoria!

Disclosure: Summer Infant sent me a Baby Touch® Digital Color Video Monitor for review.
