Today was William’s first day of preschool. This year was a little different than last year… we knew what to expect! There’s something nice about knowing the lay-of-the-land. Alexander will be joining William in 3 weeks. He’s not allowed to start until he’s actually 3… try explaining that to a little guy who is desperate to be with his big brother at school.
The “bus” leaving for school! All the boys came along for the ride and drop-off.
Mommy and William posing at school.
Daddy and William walking in together. The backpack is practically bigger than William!
Hanging out! Just about to head on in to greet his teachers.
And just like it was yesterday… he ran over to his favorite station and began playing.
My little man is getting so big! I can’t believe he is already in his 2nd year of pre-school. I can’t wait to hear all about it from him!
Look at that van full of love!
He is so cute! I can remember taking Max to preschool ten years ago. High school next year. Don’t let the rapture pass you by.
Yeah! I love to see happy kids going to school. I’m always on the other side of it, waiting and hoping that they are happy to be coming back to school. Those sand and water tables (we call ours a “discovery table”) are always a good time! I hope Alexander has a smooth transition into school too.
They grow up fast don’t they? My first boy started his second year in pre school two weeks ago. It was a bitter sweet moment!
What a cutie!! My son starts preschool tomorrow and he’s so ready! His sister started Kindergarten last week and he’s been chomping at the bit to get there!
What precious photos! The school looks so pretty too! Much better than those cold cinder block buildings with no landscaping!
I’m loving all this back to school time!
Steph
What cute pics of your boys!
We had our first day here too and it is so cute to see them trotting off all independent!
Don’t you just love it – the bag pack is bigger than him. I remember those days.
That’s great – he looks happy. Moe was happy her first three days. Today was her fourth day and it was marked with tears.
Dear Audrey – how sweet he is -such a big boy – I can remember Tracey’s first day of pre-school sooooo many years ago – and now look we are only about 40 days from her wedding – time goes by so fast – enjoy every moment. Love, Aunt Sandy.
PS – you look great
Oh, Audrey… I can just feel the excitement! I know how much William loves his teachers and his school! I can’t wait to do my special “pick-up” days this year with both of my beautiful little boys!
Love, Mom
