I have tossed it out on Twitter/Facebook today – What are your BIG FASHION DON’TS!?
I have gotten tons of hilarious DON’TS…
But!
My favorite? The one that made me laugh out loud?
DO NOT WEAR DISNEY CHARACTER CLOTHING!
Thank you, Kristen for that one! GREAT, GREAT Fashion Advice for Day #49.
Sorry, but when my 3 year old begs me to buy the matching Winnie the Pooh t-shirts so we can wear them out together I’m gonna do it! They are willing to do that for such a short time.
Then there is this particular Snow White t-shirt I own. I guess I’m just a kid at heart but I don’t wear this stuff to work, church and the like. Only on weekends when we have nothing more than grocery shopping or a kids’ party to go to. I promise!
Black tights with white shoes.
Enough said.
lol . ..totally agree with that!!! In fact, I say don’t wear anything that says GAP or ABERCROMBIE or the like across your chest! But Disney character clothing is the worst. …on adults that is.
ANY clothing or bags with huge company logos on them UGH! Unless you work for that company, make them pay YOU for advertising their things. WHY should *I* pay $3,000.00 for a purse just cause their name is on it? Chanel NO! LOL…
White blouse/black bras, pants so loose your thong shows, this need no real brain activity 🙂
IMO, Disney characters when you’re with kids is totally cool. On your own,…. welll……. No.
I assume you mean outside of a Disney park or your jammies?
I’m a childcare provider and I wear Disney shirts all the time! The kids love them and so do I. 🙂
That is hilarious! I know far too many grown people that do this! I’d like to add that it is NEVER ok to wear a scrunchy anymore!
Oh my god, anything with cartoon characters on it is a total don’t. Like, not ever, anywhere. Also, mixing designer logos blatantly for me is big don’t!
WHAT?!? You’re telling me I can no longer wear my Winnie the Pooh jean-jumper anymore?!?!? (Sigh)
JUST KIDDING!
I do have to say…
I would agree w/ T with Honey that if my son (or SONS for that matter!) wanted me to wear something with them at some point, it would be hard to say no, but I’d definitely make it cute, and be selective in where I go!
We’re not too big into sporting namebrands/logos around here anyway.
