What if…

I get lots of emails with questions that start with, “What if…”

And today’s question?

“What if I’m a size 16, and I want to add a little sexiness to my wardrobe?”
– Julie

Hi Julie!

My advice to you if you want to add a little “something” to your wardrobe for some extra sexiness?  I  definitely suggest that you not be afraid to wear tighter clothing. Do not “tent” yourself at all. Bring attention to your body areas that you love… shoulders, bust, waist, hips, legs, to name a few. Also, an added touch might be adding a few tops with a slightly plunged neckline. A bare neck and upper chest with a top that falls into a V-shape is not only sexy, but slimming as well. Try some colorful or chunky or sparkling accessories that accent your face and hair, and/or belts and scarves that bring out your curves. And, of course, take a peek at your shoes.  Don’t be afraid to go with a higher heel or open toes… and polish those toes with sexy colors! I hope this helps, and I’d love to see some before and after photos!

Yay, Julie – great question! I’m also a size 16 and am learning to avoid drapey, baggy clothing. I love accessories like chunky jewelry for a little extra flair.

Being a woman who has been much bigger and still am not that teeny tiny model size, I’d like to second Audrey’s suggestions. If you feel confident and sexy in your outfit everyone else will too. Stick two women next to each other, one has confidence and the other one is uncomfortable, everyone is going to not be able to keep their eyes off the confident woman. 🙂
