Fashion Advice – the healthy style

You know I’m all about fashion and style. It’s my passion and my love.

But I have to say… especially today… there’s nothing more fashionable and fabulous about being healthy. Whether you’re working out… eating healthy… stopped smoking… cut-back sweets… it’s all good. All good and fashionable and fit – especially for moms.

Why this “fashionable” advice today?

Today’s a special day. A year ago today my husband committed to losing weight. He had tried unsuccessfully for years. But last May 16th, something changed. Something altered his way of thinking, and he went full-steam ahead!

He inspired me to keep myself healthy and fit for myself, my boys, my life…

Check out my husband’s new blog (that he started today!) Formerly Fat Matt.

Great job! Too funny, as there is a bar/restaurant right down the road from my house called “Fat Matt’s”. I’ll never look at it the same.

My husband has been a bigger guy ALL his life. He’s been a size 42 jean size and XXL shirt size since about 2 years after I met him in 1998 or so. Last year January 2007 he decided to change things, too. All on his own. He started working out and eating better and he’s now about 75 lbs. down, and wears between a 36-38 jean. All of his shirts are Larges!

I’m so proud of him as well, as he just decided to commit and did it. Congrats to your husband as well.
And happy early Birthday, to you!

Oops. Meant to say January 2008. I’m pregnant. Please forgive me. 🙂
