Want to meet my boyfriend?

Gottcha. (wink, wink!) I’m talking clothing here, not actual men.

I have been seeing Boyfriend Jackets EVERYWHERE lately!

My first reaction to them was — “so juvenile.” I remember having a boyfriend jacket back in 8th grade. Oh, yes. I thought I was the coolest thing that ever hit Barrington Middle School. I think I wore that coat every single day all year long. Rolled up sleeves and all.

Now they’re back. Chic, slightly over-sized blazers that give a trendy relaxed look, as if you have actually borrowed your “boyfriend’s jacket.” I must admit — I was so very wrong as they are NOT looking at all juvenile. Boyfriend jackets are very classic and feminine looking. Such an easy piece to add into your wardrobe. Wear a blouse underneath, a tee, a sweater, a turtleneck… anything will do. Just toss on your new boyfriend and go!

Courtesy of my friend Stephanie from MomTV, she sent me a link to one at J.Jill right now — GORGEOUS.

And I found one that I ordered last night at Ann Taylor Loft online —

So keep your “boyfriend” in your closet. And bring him out as often as you like!

Mmmm Ann Taylor Loft – love it! I really like that this can be worn by women of all sizes as long as it’s cut well!
