2 miles KICKED MY BUTT!

I just got back from a 2 mile run and it (literally) kicked my butt.

I was huffing and puffing. And running like a snail the last 1/4 mile home. Refusing to stop, I kept going – but I can assure you, I’m sure a few cars that passed by probably wanted to see if I needed a ride home.

But I did it. I made it. 2 miles. DONE.

I have put myself up to the ultimate 2010 challenge… I am participating in a Blogger Relay Race – a 200 mile relay race! Eat. Blog. Run. 12 of us bloggers are doing it together…

Today was my first official day of training. In total – on the weekend of May 1-2 – I have to run 17 miles… oh, man (I know, what am I doing!). But it’s something I am putting my mind to… and am determined to do.

And now (mind the coughing and heavy breathing), I’m off to get some water… !

    That sounds so inspiring. It’s terribly difficult for me to get any exercise routine down. Between waking up with the one year old at 6 am and going to bed an hour after the 3 year old at 10 pm, there’s not much time for myself.

    17 miles! WOW! I am running a half (13.1) marathon in Oct and I thought I was crazy! You inspire me and totally rock! If you can train for 17 miles with 4 kids and a full time blog job I can do 13.1 miles with 0 kids!!! GO GIRL!
