Update: The bike has been rolled out of the shed…

Two days ago, I wrote a post about wanting to get into some physical activity… but not actually doing anything toward accomplishing that goal.

Well, all that has changed.

My lime green Cannondale has been rolled out of the shed.

OK.  I will admit that Barry rolled my Cannondale out of the shed.  And he attached it to the bike rack that he attached to his car. And he transported my Cannondale to Providence Cycle to get a maintenance check.

The bike rack and the bike.
Thanks, Honey!

Details.  Details.

But it was l’il old me who got online and registered for the July 24th Danskin Triathlon in Webster, Massachusetts.  And it was me who hooked up again with my BFF I’ve never met Hal Higdon… and downloaded his 8-Week Training Program for Sprint Triathlons.

Hal and me for the next 8 weeks!

Yes, indeedy.

I told you I needed a plan.

Now… can someone help me help me squeeze into my swimsuit?

As your loving husband, I am here at your beck and call for whatever tasks are required of me. If one of those tasks happens to be assisting you into a bathing suit of your(or my) choice…so be it. BRING IT ON!

How ironic! Hal is my BFF as well. I think he probably has a lot of BFFs that he will never meet 🙂
