With summer winding down a bit and August shaping up to be a very heavy travel month for work… I needed this past weekend.  I needed it more than you know… !

And that being said… last night for me was the most perfect. summer. night.  The MOST perfect!

Vera and her family are still here visiting, and after a long day at the beach we all decided to go very low-key last night.  Matt bought hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken and just grilled away like a master!  We ate outside while the kids played in our backyard.  We then had delicious s’mores and Matt even hosted a small firework display (safe and legal ones).

It was the perfect company.

The perfect amount of laughs.

The perfect kind of weather.

The perfect everything.

And to top the night off, The Housewives of New Jersey was on, too!
