Day 12 and Counting ’til Jane & Brian’s Wedding: Best Wedding Shoes

Wedding Countdown – Day 12…

Ah.  Wedding Shoes.

Wedding Shoes carry a bride on a journey to her groom.  A new adventure.  A new life.  A bride slips on her Wedding Shoes when she’s single and slips them off when she’s a wife.

Wedding Shoes hold the lucky “sixpence in her shoe” for a lifetime of happiness and prosperity.

Wedding Shoes (and the groom, of course) twirl a bride on her Wedding Dance.

Wedding Shoes are as personal as the bride herself.  Jane searched for something charming, something fun and something comfortable for a day of ceremony, tradition and dance.

Jane’s Wedding Shoe “peek-a-boo”…

After a bit of a search, Jane found these Caparros gems at Macy’s.

Yes, these shoes are charming.  These shoes are sparkly fun.  These shoes are very, very comfortable.

In 12 days, Jane will slip on her Wedding Shoes as Jane Hillary Couto…

Love the "C"... pretending it's for "C"outo!

… and slip them off as Jane Couto Govednik.

Until then, the Wedding Shoes await the Wedding Day…

… and the “sixpence in her shoe” (the very same sixpence I wore in my shoe the day I married Janie’s Dad).

Ah.  The Wedding is just steps away!

Jane’s wedding shoes are so cute. Thinking back to my wedding shoes……yuck. Way back then, eveyone got the same shoes. Bride and bridesmaids. The bridesmaids just got theirs dyed to match their dresses. So much better now! I am loving these post. Almost as much as I love you and your amazing family.

The shoes I had at my wedding were really cheap. I am sure glad not everyone has to suffer the way I did at my wedding, as now five years later I am divorced! :O
