Mom Fashion: I’m Drinking the All-Star Weekend Kool-Aid

I’m a baseball fan.

Not a HUGE ONE, but I like baseball.

Let’s put it this way, I usually know who is doing well and who is not doing so well each season… mostly with an eye on my beloved Red Sox.

Heading to the Home Run Derby with State Farm was awesome, and it really ignited more of a baseball love in me. It’s pretty contagious being around die-hard fans. There’s something electric and illuminating in the energy!  With the All-Star game playing the next day (which aired last night), people were in from all over the country to support their players. It’s CRAZY to me, and absolutely crazy-cool!

So… the fashionista in me needed to buy a couple of items to feel “part of the crowd!”  LOL… in all honesty, it was SO HOT at the Home Run Derby and I forgot my sunglasses, so I “had” to buy a hat.  I chose an “All-Star baseball hat.  I ALSO found a very cool Victoria’s Secret tee “PINK All-Star”… as luck would have it, the tees were buy one, get on free… so I bought 2.

On the way home from Kansas City yesterday, I totally wore my baseball All-Star pride.  And – yes – I completely drank the Kool-Aid.

My husband was laughing because he said, “Can you name 5 players from any other team than the Red Sox?”

Nope. I can’t.

But I love this hat and shirt.
