My husband is blessed with some really good friends. I mean, REALLY good friends. When he went off to Brown, he not only left with a degree and a future-wife, but he left with a set of guy friends who are truly like brothers to him. As his wife, it’s amazing to see. I love seeing him so happy and so full of life with these guys.

One of his “brother’s” got married this past weekend in New Jersey… his buddy Pete married his lovely bride Nadya. It was a beautiful wedding, set right at Alba Vineyards. Getting away with my Matty for the weekend was incredible, we had such a wonderful romantic getaway!

The weather was warm… the rain held off during the ceremony and just happened to drip a little during the reception… but it was the company that made the night. I’ve known Matt’s buddies longer than I’ve known him, so for me, it was just as cool seeing his buddies, too. The best part about seeing these guys now is that they’re all attached to amazing ladies. Matt and I just had a wonderful time chatting and laughing and dancing and laughing some more with some of our oldest friends… and it was awesome getting to know the ladies!

And… I guess you know the night was a success, when at the after party, you find your husband in a goat pen. 🙂
