14 years ago today, I met my husband.

He was a senior at Brown and I was a junior, we had “known of each other” before, but had never actually MET until October 28th, 1998.

I always say, it was a day that God said, “That’s it! It’s time for you guys to meet.”

FATE.

Fate has a way of working out.

Except for the days my children were born, this was and still is one of the greatest day’s and memories of my life. I absolutely knew 14 years ago that this was the man I would marry. This was my soul mate. It was a feeling that I felt from the top of my head, down to my toes.

My other half…

I remember thinking, “What took you so long to find me?” after that day 14 years ago.

And you know what?

Everyday for the last 14 years I’ve looked at my husband and thought, “I’m the luckiest girl in the world!”

So today… today’s a special day. My life changed forever 14 years ago.
