The Magic of Reading.

This is a HUGE moment for me, and I’m so glad I captured it on video.

Alex has been working on his reading for the last few weeks… he’s DYING to read on his own! He’s been watching his older brother William read for the last year now and has been very envious. All summer Alex tried to get some words down, but he would get frustrated so quickly if he got something wrong. It broke my heart.

Yesterday he did it on his own… and believe me, I was beaming.

Truly, the magic of reading. It really gives a child power.
