I’m SO excited for the premier of Emily Owens M.D. tonight on CW!

I’ve been able to get a little bit of sneak peek of the show and I have to tell you… it’s amazing! What I love about it is that it’s a fun show for adults… I watched it and immediately was drawn into to the characters and their stories and where they are going with their lives. It’s awesome when a show does that to people. It’s engaging!

The premise of the show is…

The series follows the life of Emily Owens (Mamie Gummer), who is a first-year intern at Denver Memorial Hospital, where she realizes that her med-school crush Will Collins (Justin Hartley) and her high school nemesis Cassandra Kopelson (Aja Naomi King) also work. Emily is not only the new kid once again, but real life is also just as awkward as high school.

I think that’s what I love about it so much… it’s NOT high school based, but the inner workings of the show are familiar to anyone whose, been there and done that. We probably all have that “girl” from high school who we would prefer not to have to “bump” into again, never mind work with her! It’s so well done – such a fabulous show!

Make sure you tune in tonight… you’ll get addicted to it!
