Originally scheduled on the day Hurricane Sandy arrived, the Big City Moms’ Biggest Baby Shower Ever has been rescheduled for Monday, November 19 from 6:30pm – 9:30pm at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City.
The Big City Moms Biggest Baby Shower Ever, co-hosted with Fit Pregnancy, is the only national event for mothers of its kind, and is the “it” party for expectant and new parents in NYC. More than 1,000 expectant and new moms and dads will be in attendance, browsing and shopping the hottest essentials for modern parenting, all while being treated to fabulous food, spa activities and educational seminars from the most well-known experts in the industry.
In light of Hurricane Sandy, Big City Moms and J&R Jr., in partnership with Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.), have developed an online registry for those looking to provide support to families in need through product purchases. The Ultimate Baby Registry will help families get back on their feet with each product purchased sent to K.I.D.S. for distribution. In addition, J&R Jr is proud to offer a 10% discount on featured items through the month of December and will be setting up a donation collection site for new items purchased from their store at 1 Ann Street at Park Row.
