Joanna over at BabyGatorsDen.com hosts Thankful Thursday every week, and this week I thought I’d join in. I think it’s always good to take a moment to remind yourself of the things in your life for which you’re thankful. Here are a few of mine:
- A sweet husband who makes me vanilla chai every morning to bring on our walk in the park with the dogs
- Three doggies that make waking up at 6:00 am to go to the park worth it (since I do love me some sleep)
- Our annual family trip (all 19 of us!) to see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular tomorrow in NYC (LOVE this tradition!)
- A night off from cooking, since I’ll be joining Brian and some of our running friends out for dinner tonight after a run
- A Nor’easter yesterday that didn’t bring any snow to our part of Rhode Island (my preference is for winter to start after Thanksgiving)
What are you thankful for this Thursday?
My dog doesn’t wake me up unless she wants to eat. She’s not a big fan of walking. I also prefer winter to start after Thanksgiving.
I love your family with the 3 puppies, so sweet 🙂 Thank you for linking up– I’m so thankful for our wonderful group of Rhody Bloggers!
Stopping over from Thankful Thursdays link up…what a great family outing! Enjoy it. This weekend is supposed to be lovely here in NYC. 🙂
I love your list & your traditions. Especially the family-wide Radio City & dog-walking traditions. You are a blessed gal!
Aww your husband is so sweet! I love that my husband sets up our coffee with a timer for the next morning so I don’t have to do it at 4:30 a.m. 🙂 And your Radio City trip sounds like so much fun to do every year! Us girls in my family took a bus one year and I loved it, but we haven’t done it since.
Great list Jane!! Vanilla chai sounds like a great way to start the morning. I LOVE the Radio City Spectacular. Have a great time 🙂
your husband is so sweet! and I too am glad that this nor-easter wasn’t too bad (although I did get about 3″ of snow here in NY, it’s basically all gone already).
What a wonderful list Jane! I am so glad we escaped the Norester!! That would have been terrible!
Oooh, have fun in NYC!!! What a fun tradition!!
I Can’t wait to see photos from your Radio City trip! Such a wonderful family tradition!
